Her Life Between Dawn And Dusk Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Her Life Between Dawn And Dusk

Rating: 5.0

Between dawn and dusk
There are hours of loneliness
When life shows it dark side and
Opens up its most cruel and ugly face

Between dawn and dusk
The endless work steals away
All memories of you and story of
Love to the heart does not find a way

Between dawn and dusk
You live in a dejected mood
Within enclosure of ghostly walls
You lose the charm of the womanhood

Between dawn and dusk
Lies a realm of hollowness
Buried in heap of endless chores
The Soul dies tangled in a tricky mess

Between dusk and dawn
You feel the heart goes light
As you lie in the bed as a queen
To win over his heart and today's fight

The intricacies of life is mostly seen between dawn and dusk. Struggles in day to day life are mostly done at this time of the day. A very perceptive write on life. Well crafted and conveyed. Liked the ultimate stanza.

Separation can be painful, even in the space of one day as we feel the crushing weight of routine. As this poem shows, togetherness is a balm that reaffirms one's personal sense of worth. A 10+!
