Hello Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Hello

Rating: 5.0

hello, it's nice to see you
I was thinking of all the years
I've passed up on the emotion
that you alone had made me feel
they say that once you've found love
it's something you are suppose
to hold onto forever
hello, do you understand me?
I'm in a state of reclusiveness
desiring to be freed
now that I'm older and bound
I've forgotten what it felt like
to feel an emotion
so endearing and so sweet
the spark you ignited
will last an infinite mile
hello, how very sweet
I wasn't expecting to hear you
say just what I meant to you
I know that time haven't been so easy
We've made it out the nothingness
that have overtook our lives
it's obvious the flame still burns
transcending space and time
hello love now qualifies
I must have been longing for sometime
waiting for you to return unto me
and once you did I welcomed you with opened arms
hello love now qualifies
I've strapped my seat belt for the ride
because I have welcomed you inside of my heart
this love is eternal and will never part,
no, not again
