Heartache Poem by SAIMA ANJUM

Heartache

Rating: 5.0

I met an angel passing by,
she earned her wings for more than just to fly.
With her beautiful smile she tore our hearts,
she was very beautiful and had no face mark.
I was caught up by her beauty,
and stopped to ask her story.
She told,
I was neither a soul nor a person,
but a miracle which remain undone.
Almighty sent me to the world as a gift,
but because I was a girl, none gave me any lift.
I know even mine loved me much,
but they did not valued me as such.
They pretended to be happy but they were not,
and my lord did not wanted me to be bowed.
I was just three days old,
but richer than gold.
I never wished to be a burden,
and therefore I decided to get ridden.
I broke all the chains and held my wings,
I stepped out in the sky like I swing.
I know, my sister still misses me.
I know, my parents still loves me.
I love and miss them too,
but to sort out, I had no clue.
She said this much and flew away,
but even now and forever in my heart she would stay.

(May your soul rest in peace)
