Heart Throb Of Many Women Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Heart Throb Of Many Women

Songs of love from Elvis Presley, heartthrob of many women
through the years, wanting to be his one and only, always
dreaming of the day when they would be together.

Memories feathering throughout the years, now hearing his
songs, knowing those dreams have never been fulfilled for
he got married to Priscella.

Now he's gone from this earth, we are left only with songs
and records he's left behind for us to listen to, dreaming
of what we had once hoped would come true, but didn't.
