He doesn't always give us,
exactly what we want,
but the wisdom of God is,
He always gives us what we need.

He doesn't always give us,
a pill for every pain.
But the love of God is,
He gives a shoulder to pour our pain on.

He doesn't always give us,
a warning for every wrong.
But the comfort of God is,
He lets us throw the wrong away.

He doesn't always give us,
a big flashing light.
But the glory of God is,
He can be subtle as the wind.

He doesn't always force us,
to believe in Him.
But the Truth of God is,
He still wants us to.

He doesn't always whisper,
in the dark of night.
But the mystery of God is,
sometimes he does.

He doesn't always send,
an angel to talk to you.
But the strength of God is,
He always sends angels.

And with all these truths spoken,
it fills my heart with joy,
to say that God is there.
Till' the end,
this I surely know.
