I traveled to a place unknown to me.
Laughter seemed to fill the air.
And in this land I found a heart of gold.
In someone who really cared.

He took me through a time called happiness.
He brought me peace of mind.
I never felt a time of emptiness.
He always made the sun shine.

And late at night when I was all alone.
I'd long the comfort of his arm.
With him I always felt secure and warm.
His presence took away my fear.
And I was safe from harm.
He made me sure.
