Haunting
Harrowing past events of old
stirs within my mind and soul
violent memories haunts me still
takes over my very will.
Resident demons plaguing me
grotesque visionaries appears
pulverizing random thoughts
haunts my every breath, I'm lost.
They come to me within the darkness
invade my being, fills with sadness
from every folical to each finger
every inch of skin erects it lingers.
Emitting from my open pores
words expel like nowt before
possessing, haunting evil dwells
pulverized within my head.
Sometimes in my darkest dreams
screams in the night awaken me
my rescue is the rising sun
chase the shadows, night be gone.
Nice poem, sometimes we need the darkness to remind us that light and hope will follow.

In our deepest fears there poems which chill the spine, yet even in these dark moments the reading of them by others will give you freedom, grata poem!
