Hate-If You Must Poem by jyoti saxena

Hate-If You Must

Rating: 5.0

Of course, you can hate
It is allowed at every age
For it is the strongest emotion
That keeps the earth in motion!
For whom would the cauldrons simmer?
Won’t the witches then become thinner!
The papers would be dull and grey
Without the shades of red, I pray!
Source of livelihood for quite a few
What would then the soldiers do?
Wheels of progress would come to a still
Without arms, ammunitions and nuclear drill.
Hate jealousy terror do not despair
Without you, we would just sit and stare!
Love though your only enemy be
Single-handed can clog the wheels you see!
Beware of LOVE
it can cause commotion,
With age, it is not granted promotion!
So-Let us keep that love at bay,
Till the sun shines let us dry the hay.
For when LOVE comes
It comes here to stay!
