Hard Times Count

Telling each other stories
Wanting to warn of dangers
Passing time and avoiding
Troubles we don't want to confront

So much to avoid
To cover up and pretend
The truth may hurt
But it's how we're received that counts in the end

Got friends who care
Who will support you when you need them

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
