Happy Early Days Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Happy Early Days

Rating: 5.0

“Will you marry me “she will always tease
“Yes I shall carry “I used to reply at an ease
We were neighbor and stayed almost together
She will visit house often and always offer

“Go and run away with her” brother used to remark
“No please, do not do anything to her” mother may retort
She had inkling for me and everybody knew in the family
She may always try to adjust and help mother happily

Such were nice and happy early days
She comes before me often in many ways
Some good occasion certainly reminds me of her
How come she always came near and offered?

I have vivid memory and always miss
She was the one like giant tree
She tried to be useful always
I too watched her grow and paid attention

Destiny might have different tale
Somewhere we gain and somewhere we fail
It is how you miss some one very dear in the circle
I found her very co-operative even when faced some trouble

It is meeting of minds always
Their smooth behavior always reminds
Of closer acquaintance and attachment
We may always try to remember with fine comments
