Happy Diwali 2013. Poem by Hardik Vaidya

Happy Diwali 2013.

Happy Diwali 2013.

Begins with Wikipedia, the free,
Digital congress of minds.
The eternal salt need,
Licked over chrome, explorer.
Satiation on the insatiable mind.

Billion Indians,
Various reasons.
From Rama to Krishna,
The Sikh Guru released,
Brother and sister,
The slaying of a daemon.

Harbinger of the lamp,
That solitary.
14 or 14 million pale in its glow.
Redundancy of the sun external,
Sunrise of your self,
Eternal.

Through ages, times,
Wasted and gained ones,
Both alike, both irrelevant.
The festive spirit,
Flows through the drains,
Of civilian minds.

Googled across,
Spanning the ocean,
In Washington,
At the White House,
2009 Obama lights a lamp.

From one end of the earth,
To another,
The lamp of light,
Finally,
Concludes the truth.
The circle of life.
The only righteous thing.
