If the leaves of the trees turn color again
The green slowly changing
Into scarlet and yellow ocher
The sunlight plays through the leaves
And a golden light shines through
When the wind stirs up a storm almost
My hair blown, all mixed up
The rain pounding against the windows
And fungus growing fast
When the scents in the air are changing
And I stumble on acorns and chestnuts
The dew glistens on the leaves
Of the low-hanging morning mist
If the smells and colors takes my breath away
Every step I take surprises me more and more
Each day looks different again from the previous
And I breathlessly look at all the splendor
That's when the great happiness has come
And when autumn in all it's beauty is there
Pure enjoyment dawned
A great season of rejoicing
