Haiku Poem by Katinka Havermans

Haiku

The air moist
A promise of autumn lingering
In morning breeze

- - - - - -

Birds chirping loud
Argueing pushing shoving and pecking
to take a bath

- - - - - -

Sunbeams make the dewdrops glisten
In the early morning light everything shines
Like diamonds on the grass

- - - - - -

Branches wave in the storm
If we could be like that tree
And bend more without breaking
