H & H Poem by AnaDiamond AA

H & H

Rating: 5.0

You and I, my love,
Our existence is a holy superstition
Between Heaven and Hell, there is a sacred division
Filled with emotions and visions -
That we call Life

My Dark Knight/
Your Savior/
Jesus,
May He forgive us
For all the promises that we have shattered into pieces
For all the venom in our veins that increases
But we will, within time, find the Higher peace

You know it and I know it,
We might be the best of worst generations -
Through the temptations we dive towards unknown destinations
But we are, most importantly, lovers
Lovers of sensations
Lovers of innovations
Lovers of dedications and liberation -
Those reflected in the filmstrips, captured within the book covers, repeated in the song lyrics
It is us, our love is the truth; our life is the trick

Patrol,
I heard them Angels
I heard their sounds from Heaven
I don't think they will sing for me
Because on the dirty road to life,
She said, 'I was born and raised in hell'
But with your love, I've let out the truth that I thought I'd never tell
You took in the moist smell of my skin
You built a new world within my flesh of sin
When I sang to you, you didn't love my voice but my lips;
You adored the edges of my body; from the bend of my knee to my fingertips
You knew the lines of my palms by heart,
Not even death can do us apart

And yet the new era has begun,
But you, you must forgive me for all I have done
From Hell's mistress to Heaven's bride,
Oh God, you know my journey has been an immortal ride
But I have always stood on your side
Thus I beg you to let me enter the Heaven alive -
