Guilt Purrs Action
When a man has been refused,
A woman feels pity for him
And loves him more than she did before.
When a mother has been neglected,
A son feels pity for her
And takes care more than he did before.
When a child has been beaten,
The mother feels pity for it
And pampers more than she did before.
Guilt purrs action; pity brings love
