Grey In Extremes Poem by Zachary Clark

Grey In Extremes

Rating: 5.0

Humming at the world
As the world screams at me
Searching the darkness
But there is nothing to see
Prodding 'round for answers
As the world claws at me
Lookin' for elightenment
But they are blind too is seems...

Why does the Ego, see people...
As infallible idles and sheep
When it's pedestals of broken
Individuals wretched as we
Maybe we'd do well, realize
That every one of us bleeds
While those, we idolotrize
Veigns are all slashed open to see...

It's a brutal nightmare
A farce before sleep
The deep dark embrace
That mutes our little peeps
People tell us their better
Demon's crapping on streets
So nothing is changing
Just another doom sayer... it seems...

Tradition is structural vision
That holds up our best in
To crumble it, stops us
From forward progression
Crashing natural transition
Before our next destination...
Just leaves us exposed
And left to our own desecration...
