GREAT IFE

an adventure into the city of mysteries
in a citradel of incredibles
where illusions are made realistic
and mirages turn to pools of water

fecundity of wisdfom and erxpertice –
a prominent feature of the world of boundless freedom
the most spiritual of her equals,
yet, the most unpredictable of her mates

steered by an array of intellectuals
the friends and foes alike
many amongst which are experience epitomised
and embodiments of climatic factors

the student body is an interesting cartoon
likened to a bunch of bananas
with a tenth of it already rotten
and the contagious disease is fast spreading

a place where visions turn to missions
and missions are heightened to fulfilment
under extreme temperature and pressure
for nothing good comes easy

thank God for the wonderful alumni body
people who excelled in this community of wonders…
africa’s most beautiful campus – they say
but that is left to you to decisde.
