FATHER FORGFIVE ME.
“Father forgive them
For they know not what they do”
Few words from a man in anguish
Feelings of a man in agony.
Words uttered on an awful tree
Which seconded the preceeding dreadful acts
Weighed out by the ignorant nobles of the past
When HE has got to drink from the cup
The words of a suffering servant
The forsakening feelings of the innocent
Thinking He had been completely forgotten
Taking my sins and shame away.
Behold the Love personified
Brething helplessly on that tree
Beaming still with unquantifiable love
Besides being in pains unspeakable
Lover of enemies
Lovingly blessing His cursers
Laying down His Life for all
Loving it not unto the dearth
“Father Forgive me, too
for I’ve been childish all these wghile”
Frank words from me to YOU
For I know that I’ve nailed YOU, too.
