Great-Grandma Poem by Belle Wassermeister

Great-Grandma

Rating: 5.0

Great-Grandma couldn't drive a car,
but she could ride a horse.
She couldn't drive a car because
none were around, of course.

She also couldn't watch TV
or use the telephone,
but she could write and she could read
when she was all alone.

Lovely poem; good rhythm and rhyme. She looks like she is carrying clipboards or something. Was she a forest ranger?

Yes, that is exactly what she was. Thank you, Kim, for your multiple comments!
