Goutam Buddha In Meditation Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Goutam Buddha In Meditation

I see the art and craft,
The sculpture,
Just the torso
So artistic and dreaming,
Buddha in meditation,
The eyes closed,
Appearing to be half-awake, half-sleep
Which but understand I it not
Buddha in meditation,
Dreaming and dwelling far
Into the realms unknown,
Buddha,
Goutam Buddha
Just like a lotus closed up
And the petals
Seemingly closing and opening both,
Do serene and calm
But beaming with joy,
Radiating with light.
