Good People Now Homeless Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Good People Now Homeless

Life stands by, watching for opportunities to step up
and let compassion flow from their hearts and souls in
order to help others in need.

Walking along, seeing people in need of food, clothing,
or love and caring, instead being left on the street
with nothing.

For no one has the heart to stop and help a fellow human
being in trouble, where have all the good people disappear-
ed to in this world.

Only being found in back alleys and on street corners, beg-
ging for money, food or a job to help themselves out of a
predicament not of their own doing.
