Your golden freckles, I just couldn't resist;
Your golden freckles were just too sweet to be missed;
That cluster of freckles across your nose,
Guaranteed that you were the one who I chose.

Those freckles, with their subtle, shimmery shine,
Caught my eye, and I knew you were mine;
Those glorious, glamorous, glittery marks,
Looked so beautiful on your skin, rich and dark.

I couldn't keep you out of my mind,
And knew that I couldn't leave you behind;
Those delicate dots, across your nose, shone,
And, from the shelf, you were very soon gone.
