Going Forward To A Better World
Lets put it all together
And throw the dice once more,
Life is but a constant dance,
A new adventure, taking a chance,
Never should you close the door,
An open mind, a generous heart
Will get you further,
Than you ever thought,
You could go.
Always start a new adventure
By being better
Than you were before,
By looking forward
To a better World
Where Love and Truth,
Are holding hands,
Building bonds of brotherhood,
Gifted to all Lands.
And hands are used
To open doors.
Not buried in the sand.
We never give up!

Very positive poem, quite upbeat about the possibilities in life. I don't think that is a common attitude these days. People wear such despondent faces these days- sometimes I think it is because modern technology brings us news from all over the world- places we don't even know exist- in a matter of moment we know a child has been murdered in Scotland, a school attacked in Texas, a restaurant bombed in Algiers, , and on and on. We need your voice, my dear!

This is a beautiful write sparkling with hope! Yes, there glimmers a light and it invites us to move forward to a fresh beginning, holding each other's hands.
