God's Canopy Poem by Vera Sidhwa

God's Canopy

Rating: 5.0

God's Canopy

Only when I lived under God's canopy
I resided in a better land.
A land full of serenity
A land full of gratitude.

Only when I lived under God's canopy
Did the tulips bloom in so many colors
For you see
I did do exactly what God wanted me too.

Only when I lived under God's canopy
Did the sunlight bathe the land and sky
Nor did I hear a single sigh
It was a droplet of sun.

I lived a life alongside God.
He lived in me and outside in me.
He erased all jealousy, envy
And endless human strife.
