God Forgave Poem by Susan Wall

God you made me this is true,
sad to say things did not go as planned.
Fell into sin, what a life the devil gave me.
This life only left me broken and torn,
not knowing if you would shine your love on me.
One day I came back to you, that very
day you took me back.
All dirty with sin and grime,
you showed your kind mercy on me.
Just wanted to say thank you Lord,
you wanted to forgive a sinner like me.
