Hold The Faith Poem by Susan Wall

Hold The Faith

When I would go to my cleaning jobs
there were those who were real snobs.
Many times that was when, I would talk to God.
He would walk beside me, as room to room I did trod.
I tried to pretend each home I cleaned
was just one of the many I did own.
Some of those houses would blow my mind
I found it hard to believe
these homes felt like home to me.
Ten years I roamed, in these beautiful homes
that I clean hopes one day
my sweet charming would come for me.
I never gave up on the prayers, I said day after day.
God did not let those prayers go unheard
I share with you my life, in pieces of poems I share.
I stayed strong when all others swore
that was just a dream for me.
Now that is just a part of what made today
my faith paid off.
I share with you my life in pieces of poems I share.
I stayed strong when all others swore
that was just a dream for me.
Now that is just a part of what made today
My faith paid off.
Now God gave me that man that is right for me
and now I have that house
I always wished could be for me.
