Glimmer Poem by Poetry Falcon

Glimmer

Always murmured
Wanted to be the object of your desire
But always felt
Like I was not the one to admire

Now I know there was something
Looking back
A glimmer of hope it seems
My thoughts and emotions
Were slightly more than just daydreams

You see, that stranger in my bed
So handsome a stallion
A sexy milf chaser
A most sought after companion

Did not reach my portal
Eyes never crossed
It didn't matter
Our bodies simply tossed

Sad to compare lovers
One shouldn't dare
But you kissed me, looked in my eyes
Our souls~ a beautiful affair

Was it love?
Well, not for you.
I fell, fell hard it's true.
My heart now broken in two.
I feel lost without you.
Faint glimmer gone, too.
