Glass Of Water (Limerick & Senryu)

Rating: 5.0

Limerick

Half full is the glass to the optimist
Half empty is the glass to the pessimist
But what about science?
There is no compliance
It is twice too big to the technologist

Senryu

Optimist: "half full"
Pessimist: "is half empty"
Engineer: "twice big"

Well done. Now add a sonnet with the same theme! Ha! Just kidding. Where is that glass of water anyway? I'm thirsty.

Thanks. Sonnets are too much trouble. Half a glass might be just right for a half wit like you. (kidding)

I like the way how the same theme, is beautifully incorporated in two poetical structures. Well done.

Thank you Mihaela. I wasn't sure the senryu would be understood, so I wrote the limerick afterwards.
