Ghazal Poem by Mushtaque B Barq

Ghazal

Rating: 4.8

What if thy heart not burns in love
How a grave bright thy turns in love?

Undone and rewrite thy verses
All a devotee learns in love

Drape in iron coffin wild fawn
Thy garden a throne earns in love

Break thy pots old, seek a Potter
Deer like eyes are decked urns in love

Be wick in wax to dwell calmly
Wind echoes thin lanterns in love

Toss not thy goblets in frenzy
A drop may burn taverns in love

Root notbony cage in tight cells
Copious are caverns in love
