Fruitless Results Poem by Monlano Amir

Whats the point of trying
When it doesn't bear fruit
Whats the point of hoping
When u cant change ur route

Why even sense emotion
When the results are out
Why work so hard
When nothing is brought about

Why spend the days
In sorrow of what occured 
Why feel like a failure
When numbness is much perferred

So I say screw the results
And damn the whole thing
I'll go on being insensitive
And act like a strong king

I'll raise my head high
I'll walk like I made it through
No one can push me down
Without consequences due

So! I say forget the whole event
Live in a wonderous dream
I find it safer and more thrilling
Even if i want to scream
