From The Scene Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

From The Scene

From the scene

It is not your role
You are not assigned to respond call
Whether out of anger
Or as role of butcher

It is duty if nature
That may make sure
The destruction of living being
And cycle shall stop or bring

You take pride in being called killer
But no sooner
The luck is running out of favor
You shall be hunted for

No one has survived long
For doing wrong
The reward is given here
With maximum punishment and fear

No dictator has survived fate
Even if that was extended as late
They have all gone from the scene
Their picture or monument is so far not seen
