Friends are hard to come by
Especially friends like you!

Ones that are there through ups & downs
Forever remaining true.

Dear friend my God has blessed me when he sent you in my life
Though far away, night or day there’s never any strife

Though through the years we’ve grown older
Times get rough theirs always your shoulder

I remember nights when I couldn’t get through
I just want to say thank God for sending me you!
