Can I talk to you for a second?
I have something on my mind

Have you ever thought you knew someone but came only to find?
That they were there to hurt you
Play with your heart, your feelings & your mind
Breaking down your spirit each & every time

Using you for every thing that you have in order to satisfy
Their wants, their needs…their selfish intentions
It’s hard to find the strength not to resent them & the way that you’ve been treated

But I know someone that can help you beat it
Revive your heart from being mistreated
Get down on your knees, but you have to mean it
Ask the lord for the power of forgiveness

For it’s you who will be the witness of what the lord can do
Repair your heart, your spirit & your mind
Leaving you refreshed & renewed!
