Friends And Enemies Poem by Alan Bruce Thompson

Friends And Enemies

My friends agree with me and are just fine,
These who think my way are even divine.
Those who disagree are just pure slime,
Those idiots with ideas different to mine.

How dare they interrupt me when I hold forth,
Those non sympathetic fools who are nothing worth.
Why do they say south when I mean north,
How can they gasp for air when I'm the one that clawth.

My enemies are those of another opinion,
Those who think differently about my dominion.
Why I'm as flexible as an old minion,
Any opponents of mine will be blown to oblivion.
