Fragrance Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Fragrance

Fragrance

Stopped there at a door
-by cobbles, mosaics
-and columns of stones
-may call it "Castle-Fort"

Could smell fresh air
-kind of wet, after rain

The sky was pirate
-was blind
-on its face wore patches

Amassed were the dead leaves
-soaked by rain, I believe

Lovely and generous,
-sent message with their scent
-kind of like the smell of grass
-when lawn done, and head cut
