A song I loved
since I was a child
I never really
understood it
Till I had lived
and found the words
to translate it.

The song referred to above is titled 'Kahibulungan'
an anomymous love song which I translated into English in my poem 'Wonderment'
This seems very profound. I can tell it left a deep impression upon you. Sometimes we must wait years for the clue that we need, or to be able to take the steps to enable us to finally find some understanding that had eluded us.
