I think I have hated you more than I have loved you
For I have loved you from a distance
All I ever wanted was for you to be happy
I was afraid of hurting you
If I were to ever hurt you, I would feel your pain always

But all I did was deny a chance to love
It is true that you hurt the ones you love the most
I conceived it in my mind that I would mostly hurt you than love you
But what I did was exactly that, hurt you

Can you ever forgive me for loving you this way
Can I love you with you
Would you love me
Set my heart free from this guilt
And let me love you
