to me it is
ambiguous
unclear of the future
to them i am
broken
beaten to near death
to me i am
corrupt
altered by his touch
to them i am
destined
fated by one night
i am to all
envious
envious of them
those who
have not seen fear
fear of trust
trust of another
someone close
close enough
to hurt me
to me i am buried
i have been wronged
i was taken
my identity rewritten
words like victim
'its a shame'
its a shame?
is it a shame
what happened that night
is it shameful
he took my title
innocent girl
i am now 'victim'
i am now conflicted
anger, hatred
battle unknown
i am unknown
i am destroyed
changed, tainted
forever named victim
he took
he stole
he tore
he hit
he hit where it hurts
and i am now victim
he took my virginity
he stole my freedom
he tore my insides
he hit where it hurts
and got away with it
and i am
forever named 'victim'
