Forest Around The Chidren Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Forest Around The Chidren

Running

We ran through the forest,
Witnessing all but brown all green.
The blue sky was in a canopy you know.
The children were out of breath.

But I directed to slow down.
But they had their own sense of gift.
I told then to slow down.
I thank-God they listened to their Mom.
