For The Love Of God Poem by Joseph Walden

For The Love Of God

I do not have the words to fill this page,
only deep seeded feeling of hate and rage,
Why and against who does one ask?
First I say because of purpose and task.
Who you say,
I must send the evil one away.
Sounds scary doesn't it?
I do not mean to mock you,

Where are you?
What fear or fears do you face?
I for one,
Face the evil one.

I love my family,
I shed tears for earth,
I hug the trees,
I stare into the sunlight,
And I die in the autumn breeze.
I love you father,
And for my mother I weep.
I love my brothers,
even though they may hate me.
All I desire,
is to fight free.
Yes, I am a contradiction!
Blast these chains,
And miseries!
Now understand,
Please I beg of thee,
who?
I have only one,
enemy.
