Alone In The Mountains Poem by Joseph Walden

Alone In The Mountains

I almost died last night,
Again.
Screeching,
Wailing,
only echoes in the abyss.
There I am,
Sitting,
long lost in a cave.
It is cold,
Bone chilling madness shouting panic out,
shivering tears fall to the ground.
I can feel the razors sharpen,
slicing my mind wide open,
I am beyond the point of no return.
The voices come in,
too many to be clearly heard.
I saw him and the devil,
Etched into a rock space,
With every single little detail.
