For Heaven Seat Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

For Heaven Seat

For heaven seat

You may belong to different faith
May observe different rituals on death
But believe in one thing
Dead body has to merge with clay like thing

You have been brought on earth
With peace to breathe
Live with different people
And put up hard struggle

No one shall guide
And confide
About lapses you made
You only have to decide

Make no move
That proves
Suicidal
For any individual

God may ask only once
How fruitful was your presence?
What did you do for mankind?
Was birth as human good and kind?

We shall have to answer
All religions offer
Same formula for heaven seat
We need not seal our fate

I like these 3 lines: God may ask only once How fruitful was your presence? What did you do for mankind? I believe we will all be judged by our own beliefs and how we treat other people (and animals) .
