For An Answer
I can wait patiently enough,
Although it is extremely tough,
I can wait patiently enough,
For your answer.
Subtle though, my love
Is not a flower
Which will wither away
With every passing day.
It has the power
To sustain and retain
My intensity for you.
I am a determined lover,
Oh yes my conviction is love
I can wait for you
On this lonely bay
Until your lips does say
The words of consent.
