Fond Memories Poem by Marilyn Lott

Fond Memories

Rating: 2.8

I have so many fond memories
As I look back on the past
Vacations with the family
We always wish would last.

The cherished trip to Florida
Animals from the zoo
We wanted to take them home
Has this ever happened to you?

Water sports are so much fun
Boats tied up to the docks
You see motels and palm trees
While back and forth they rock.

Family enjoying the good life
Why, it always makes you smile
To see them so very happy
As they enjoy every single mile.

Then country and its simplicity
Covered wagons in a parade
Old cars as well to study
You’re extremely glad you stayed.

Ah yes, such fond memories
To capture in a book
And pass them down generations
So they too can take a look!
