Five Liners 91-95 Poem by Indira Renganathan

Five Liners 91-95

Rating: 5.0

91 Denture

When your mouth feels shy to laugh or talk
Fishy truth one out..means..toothless mouth
Reasons are many..but settling up with
A set of false teeth called a denture
Will revive your mouth to laugh or talk

92 Web Sites

A media for communication and interaction
An operator and a computer work connected
To the internet to meet their choice of page
A network of sites connected world wide make
A media for communication and interaction

93 Palm Tree

Out of the twelve kinds found in India
Stately high is the toddy palm tree
Seen very common throughout Tamil Nadu
With all of its parts useful honoured to be
The symbol tree of Tamil Nadu of India

94 Match Box

Fire stones were once used to ignite fire
Mellowed culture turned to simulate the same
Tiny wooden sticks with potassium chlorate heads arranged
In a box made of soft wood with red phosphorus on the sides
Each stick to strike is today's easy equipment to ignite fire

95 Elephant

As much as his huge body
So much huge is his strength
Physically and mentally great that for long now
This herbivorous fauna has been Lord Ganesh
As celebrated and worshipped by everybody
