Fighting Myself Poem by Autumn Asrai

Fighting Myself

A fight with myself
Don't know how to end
Forgotten all sorrow
Forgotten to blend
I'm lost in this lifetime
Still fighting despair
Freaked out to be here
They know I don't care
Can't bear it much longer
I'm starting to fall
The depths come to find me
They've started to call
And although I'm not blinded
By darkness beyond
The light cannot find me
And the darkness is cold
So tomorrow I suffer
And days after that
Because I can't say no
I just couldn't do that
So I'm fighting myself
Against all the odds
And I'm begging for help
And I'm begging the Gods
