Feelings Poem by Sarah Elizabeth Clark

Feelings

Rating: 5.0

I'm not too good with feelings.
I feel them all too well.
Too often in my dealings,
Do they drag me down to hell.

They've been known to overwhelm me,
Or to move me not enough.
I've been far too weak and fragile
And sometimes cold and tough.

But to have them I am grateful,
To know I may love and live.
May God take my feelings
And return only what I give.

Such true words. I think too many people don't value their feelings enough, and try to shut them away, when it is our feelings that allow us to experience the world to the full.
