Feeling Desire As It Commits Itself Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Feeling Desire As It Commits Itself

Riding down streets, radio blaring, feeling rhythms capture
minds, hearts and souls, placing them silently into poems
to be read later around the world.

Stretching thoughts, ideas and concepts throughout minds,
finding that they're always in unison no matter what should
happen in surrounding areas of a poet while writing.

Feeling desire, as it commits itself in measures of rhythms
while they invisibly continue to inspire and entice every-
one.

Causing them to dance, sway, feel good with an intensity of
melodies and harmonies, as they tame our stress without ever
tiring of hearing tones, notes and tempos.

Accompanying poetry, holding its hand, taking it out of the
shadows throughout hours of nighttime, whispering of things
beyond our imagination.
