Fear Died Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Fear Died

The look of police was enough
Body shivered, heart throbbed
Hat fell, sweat ran in the palms

That was so till eyes were blind
Hands and legs saw, kissed cuff

Prison became home not of want

Fear died
Fear died
Fear died

I was there in the field
That he said
The Nelson Mandela
