Fear Poem by Mark Heathcote

Fear

White, midnight
fear-woken insight
of midnight
sweat dripping angel
lost in the carnage of fright
screams for the light
wake me!
Wake me! Wake me!
Touch me with angelic sunlight
turn back the covers of the night
pullback those oppressive walls
open those purple-tinged doors.
and bring me shining
back into the Light.
